Green Eggs & bacon
with sweet peach sprouted toast
Good morning Sunshine...this am combo makes for a full flavor start to your day
Ingredients
-6 egg WHITES (2 yolks for healthy fat moderation)
-2 pieces turkey bacon
-2 pieces sprouted whole grain toast
-1 cup chopped vegetable of choice
-2 tbs sugar free peach preserves
-1 packet of stevia sweetner
-1 tsp cinnamon
- Salt N pepper or any additional seasonings you like
4 steps away.... to bacon and egg heaven...
1.- Mix liquid eggs and chopped brocoli into a small mixing bowl and whisk with a fork until blended.. Personally I add in my seasonings before being cooked. Next, insert bowl ,with a loose lid on top ,and microwave for 4-7 minutes. You may need to stir half way through. * Also for a non-microwave option . Simply cook on stove top using a small sauce pan and lid. Coat Pan with a light smear of Coconut Oil and set on med heat. Once the oil has melted pour in your liquid egg mixture and cover. Cook time is approx. 8 minutes depending on how you like your eggs.
2. Microwave bacon strips for approx. 2 minutes on a flat plate. *or Cook stove top on high heat in a small sauce pan with lid. cook time approx. 8 minutes. flip at the 4 minute mark.
3. lightly Toast bread, or consume fresh, and add on your 2 tbs of sugar free jam, then sprinkle on your sweetner and cinnamon on top. Also, many different fruits are great options (sliced banana, sliced apple, fresh Blueberries, Sliced Strawberries, Sliced Mango..etc)
4. Add on fat free, soy, or low fat cheese atop of your eggs and broccoli . ( many other vegetables work great as well. Cauliflour, green beens, carrots, pease, lima beans.. a great way to increase your fiber intake at the start of your day
