My Metabolic Typing Testimony...
"I Recommend The Metabolic Typing Diet for everyone. But, specifically those suffering from a current disease or an illness.
We have all experienced unwanted side effects from the foods, and food combinations, that you maybe currently consuming. Which by the way, These are not naturally occurring or "Normal" everyday symptoms you should have to experience. By eating for your Metabolic Type, your body will slowly come into balance, simply from the foods your eating, and not from dietary supplements that try to mask the underlying imbalance your body may be having
Within Metabolic typing the Food is more powerful that the Supplements. Such as, vitamin/mineral liquid or pill supplements, prescribed medications, or detoxification methods. By using whole foods you can bring your body back to a state of Homeostasis (balance) so your metabolism will be able to work holistically to heal, mend, repair, and regenerate itself to 100% as its naturally intended to do so. Personally I had learned of this diet from a mentor of mine Elliot Hulse. A strength and conditioning coach from Florida and his topic on "Eating for your metabolic type" sounded very interesting, yet claimed to be very personalized . Curiously I had purchased the Metabolic Typing Book by William Wolcott. After reading through the first couple chapters I opted for taking the 65 question metabolic test within the book. After taking the books "Basic MT Test" There were 3 possible categories I could have been placed into. A "Protein Type" "Carbohydrate Type" and a "Mixed Type". It had figured my bodies metabolic type to be a "Protein type ". So, After learning more and understanding the characteristics of my metabolic type, it felt as if the test was correct on all accounts. I do enjoy fattier meats (Steak,Dark Meats) and I enjoy salted meals and snacks. It also, pointed out why I would at times experience certain "side effects" from foods that were not specifically for my type like, refined breads, higher glycemic fruits, and certain dairy foods. I started weeding out foods that stimulated bad "Side effects" which we all get from time to time. Thus, I continued to assess my reactions with all foods which allowed me to Fine Tune my diet,into its own personal perfection.
"The best thing I like about this system is that it does not require you to weigh, measure, or count. It rather simply uses a personal proportionate serving, or Ratio, of Protiens, Carbs, and Fats that works best for your body."
This way of eating opened up many new food options for myself , and I finally understood what my body needs being a "Protein Type" and how to set up my future meals to produce an outcome that is priceless, not just feeling better, but feeling the Best! Using my correct ratio of proteins, carbs, and healthy fats each meal, I became a true believer that this is not a "diet" but a way of life. I have seen, and heard of, and read about many different diets out there... but none have became this personalized. This diet truly accessed the foods I crave, how I felt from the foods I was eating, and gave me direction with what foods I could be choosing; that in turn could give me the best energy levels, mental clarity, and ensures that my body is getting the specific unique balance of nutrients that are right for my body and not anyone else.. I honestly started experiencing positive results after the first day of my new understanding, and my first MT meal, with a heightened sense of my own health, a huge increase in my energy, and excellent craving control between meals. I knew this was my answer.

For my type I consume
I am currently in a fat cutting phase for future events, and this new adoption of foods and food portions did not slow my progress, but enhanced it .
I have never had many side effects from the foods I have eaten...unless they were highly processed foods, which used to be apart of my daily diet.(fast foods, high calorie restaurant portioned meals, boxed foods with many preservatives and artificial flavors, foods containing HFC's, Transfats, Or incomplete grains) I still though i was eating "Healthy" with mostly whole foods in each meal, yet I still had suffered from energy highs and lows, did not feel physically full or satisfied, had sweet cravings, Felt the need to snack between meals, felt energy drops, sleepiness, drowsiness and just could not establish stable blood sugar levels. From the M-Type information I was able to make much more connection with the specific foods to eat but also the foods watch for, or to avoid by how I react to them. Its a truley intuitive and personalized diet plan, that has changed my beliefs in the answer to world-wide healthy nutrition. I invite you to try it for yourself.

- Higher purine proteins (Fattier meats)(steak, salmon, dark meat, chicken, venison)
- Healthier whole grain Carbohydrates(starchy and non starchy)(Sweet Potatos, Legumes, Wild rices, Whole grains(Quinoa, barley, oatmeal, and little wheat)
- Healthier fats for my type(cold water fish, nuts, seeds, oils).
